The Story of Høie
For more than 170 years, Høie has left its mark on Scandinavian homes. The combination of top quality, good design, and an innovative mindset has ensured that Høie remains the most recognized brand in bedding, duvets, pillows, and blankets.
In 1850, textile production began in the Høie river area in the far south of Norway. The access to unlimited amounts of clean Norwegian mountain water was the key reason the fabrics became known as the best in Scandinavia. For the first hundred years, Høie offered a wide range of products before deciding to specialize in home goods. A tough market demanded innovation from leadership, and new ideas came rapidly.
